Default normal drive and slipping

is it normal for my clutch to be slipping when driving normally? sometimes it'd just be slipping even on a constant acceleration. i just got this car at 53k miles, owner said tranny has never been replaced. it is an 04, enthu. manual

Sure it's the clutch and not the lsd? CHecked your diff lately. On eof the most underappreciated parts of a car is the diff.

You're diff cannot "slip" if it feels, and you see the RPM jump and no acceleration the clutch is probably slipping. Having the tranny replaced and having a new clutch installed aren't a package.
