Ok so I called my dealer about a month ago and told him about my 3rd gear grinding, he told me I would have to make an appt to bring it in. I had to wait until I got a break from school which was today, a whole month after I first called. So I finally got to take it in today, and when I got there all that the guy said is ok let me see how many miles are on it(if it is still under warranty) and he said ok thanks we will order it and it should be here on fri. What the hell why couldnt they have done that like a month ago. He didnt even drive it. I guess I shouldnt be mad bc im getting a new transmission, but still I had to wait another month? Wow gotta love dealers!

 

Yeah, good to hear they're not putting up a fight, but stinks they had to wait that long. All I know is that if I ever have a question for the service department locally, I always have to set up an appointment and let them see my car. Policy rules I suppose. I can't really complain since they get everything done in the end without much issue.

 

Ur dealer is not going to take a chance on having it in Inventory less he figures itsa done deal and it is close to the end of the fiscal year so they are trying to get Inv. down. Seldomly do I side with the dealer but -------- Thats Business----They may even try to slide it under next year at this point
