i think in going to cry. i've had volk sf challenge rims for ONLY a year.

today my 3rd rim in 2 months has been raped by a curb. one by my dad and 2 by my sister. i was in the car on two of the 3 misshaps. i only have 1 good rim left. i cant have them looking like this, they're still too new. i have to do something. two 1/4 of the lip is beat up on 2 of the rims. the 3rd lip only has maybe a 3 inch gash.

i was thinking of grinding down the ugly and touching it up with some chrome paint. not exactly the best idea but it will make those 3 rims less of an eye sore.

Doh. that sucks dude. Find a reputable shop. Ask your local region.

 

time to stop letting other people drive your Z. I learned my lesson after 1 valet parker curbed my rear HRE and a buddy curbed 2 of my other ones. Got them all refinished and swore to never let another soul drive it again.

Ask Grant (Spartan....) in the Detroit thread. He had a rim damaged and was going to get it repaired. Maybe he found a good place to get it done. Think he had Volks as I bought his track wheels.

I just got my Volk GT-C repaired, and it looks better than it did before the damage!!!! It's alot cheaper than replacing the wheel.
