Hard to put in gear at a stop with new clutch..
Well I just got a new ACT flywheel and JWT clutch in. My installer was an idiot....
Anyways, the gears are really notchy, and its hard to put the car in first or reverse at a stop, sometimes I have to really shove it in.
Also, I have LESS FLYWHEEL CHATTER THAN STOCK..WTF??
My car revs slower than before, did this guy rip me off?? How can I tell if he put it in??

Possible may have wrong fluid in tranny. I know when I had a mechanic put the wrong fluid in, it was extremely hard to shift into gear. It wasn't until I had it flushed and new fluid installed did everything work properly. I am no expert nor have I worked on clutches though. I'm just assuming that the tranny fluid would have to be flushed prior to clutch maintenance.

No, if there was air in the line, I presume it would act much like your brakes and wouldnt work right at all. Does your clutch grab at the floor? Perhaps you need to adjust the pedal. I had to adjust my pedal after Nissan did the tranny recall and new clutch on my car.

+1 on adjusting pedal, your probably not fully disengaging the clutch when you put it in and that is why its hard to get into gear, do a quick search on here and you can find how to adjust the pedal its very easy and quick to do.
If that doesnt work then you have air in the lines and it does need to be bleed again.
Also pretty sure you should rev alot faster not slower since there technically should be alot less rotating mass. Honestly you should have killed it the first couple times you drove it because it should grab real fast.
Also I remember when I got my ACT clutch installed in my old 240, the clutch pedal went from top of pedal engagement to just off the floor full engagement without any adjustment so your's probably did the same but just too much and it needs to be adjusted so that you have a little more travel.

Also , Seldomly is the fluid flushed or removed during a clutch job.
One of the things poor installers will overlook is deburring the trans splined input shaft and lightly lubing it with some Hi Temp

Well Eazzy, I only said that because most cars that I worked on, when bleeding the clutch, if there was air in the line pedal would stick to the floor and not come back up, or just not do it very well at all. Either way, I think his problem is more likely just adjusting the pedal. I do see what your saying though.
