pinging

at high rpms in my car my engine makes a pinging sound. does neone kno why it would be doin this or what i should do to fix it or is it normal for this sound to occur with the mods that i have

are you using low octane fuel

i use 91 octane. i lie in ca so that all i got

I'm sure 91 octane is fine.

I sometimes put 89 octane and my 2004.5 base Z runs fine.
