Anyone with 5K + miles and NO feather??
I actually just got my Z last week and I have only 300 miles, but it does pull pretty hard to the right--and judging from what others have mentioned, I guess it's a common problem.
As far as the specs requested for the alignment, I will post them when I get back from the dealer. I hoping to get it done by Friday, so I will post the results then if that helps anyone.

Had the TSB performed yesterday. I'll have to look at the TSB to see where the "suspected" VINs ended. I thought it was around X05000. My VIN <600.
I wonder if yours are after these VINs. Wonder if anyone with a lower VIN is not having the problem.
BTW, I'm having an independent perform an alignment check tommorrow to confirm the dealer's results.

No feathering 4500 miles, built in December. I did just upgrade to Track Rims, and now I notice a slight pull to the right. Maybe the wheel people changed my alignment by accident?
I now have almost 11K miles on my Z and the feathering is deep heal-toe on inner edges. I think I can feel slight feathering across the entire tread with my fingers now. I didn't notice any problems with feathering at all until about 8000 miles, and I was watching for it. Then it came on with a vengence. I took a 800 mile road trip, and by the time I got back home, wow... The road noise was deafening. In the time of that single trip at 75mph, the noise went from below 25mph, all the way up to any speed. I don't know for sure when it started, I am sure it was beginnning before I actually heard it, but it couldn't have been too long before 8000 miles.
I have never had any problem with my car pulling to either side. I literally can run at 90mph hands off wheel if I am dumb enough to try. I also have none of the "bounce" that has been described.
VIN N0. 6000 range

8,000 miles, vin#258, 17's. Did have a bad right pull which was corrected at 2500 mile with an alignment. These tire are sinfully noisy at 70 MPH, bearly hear the music without cranking it up. I must be a lucky one so far.
I have one of the pre production purchase Zs (touring).
It has BAD feathering and 6500+ miles. Nissan swapped
the front tires from one side to the other and realigned.
This was done based on instructions from corporate.
At least the dealer thought this was a garbage fix. They
told me to wait 2 weeks and come back, then they could
order new tires. Nissan did approve getting the new
tires but they are taking their sweet time about it. I believe
I will wear out the new tires when they come in. Something
else needs to be done. Not just an alignment. New
springs maybe?? Anyone got an idea?
