Default engine smoke and jacked up tranny

omg, so i started up my car today and started to drive it and i noticed that the rpms were kind of high. sooo i stopped at the light and noticed i wasnt moving forward at all.. so i give it a little gas and the car acts like its in neutral.. so i give it more gas and it sorta catches on and SLOWLY moves... its like my transmission is jacked or something.. then i smell a wierd burning smell and i pull into the corner gas station and open the hood.. aparently my engine is smoking... i have no idea wtf is going on or wtf i shud do.. help

EDIT:

Just noticed you have an AT.

I had the same instance in an automatic trans myself one time before. It was a hydraulic pump in the transmission that went bad. The dealership ended up replacing the entire transmission under warranty.

Other than being annoyed, I wouldn't be worried unless if you've done something retarded with your transmission. The dealership should take care of you without a problem.

If your worried, just remove the PC and put the stock box on.. Even if you didnt have it, I doubt they would blame that for your tranny not working.
Is your Z still covered under warranty?

Ya your fine. Take it in, warranty will cover it. Even if you did abuse it, deny it and say you baby it.
Pop charger wont affect it.

Good luck!

the problem is, that it doesnt shift right in auto OR manual mode... its always at 4-5k rpms... thank god the drive home was like half a mile. the smoke from the engine was freaking me out too.. it looked like a person breathing in a cold night.. not dark smoke.. it was freaky as hell
