For just over a week now I've been getting a squeak into 5th and coming out of 6th. I thought it was from the shifter or the shift **** but my friend can hear the squeak from the outside as well. Anyone ever experienced this problem?

 

Mine is an 06 and after 11000 miles, my shifter going into 5th gear sometimes squeak. So far it's only 5th gear and once in a while.

 

I got it fixed. Turned out it was a misaligned shifter plate. Could be the same for yours.
