Question 2007 350z Power Window Problem

***NOTE: PROBLEM SOLVED (FALSE ALARM) SEE BELOW ***

Hi Everyone,

The power window on the passenger side for my 2007 350z Roadster will not go up. Pulling up the button for the drivers side you can hear a click on the motor even when it's fully up. On the passenger side it's completely dead. So, right now the window is down on the passenger side of my car.

Solution: I tried looking for a fuse. I don't see in the fuse box a fuse for the power windows. Also, the drivers side power window still works. So, I am having doubts that it's a fuse.

Ideas? Thoughts?

Since its new take it to the dealer, instead of you trying to fix it.

It's night time. I rather not leave the window down tonight if there is a fuse for it that I am not aware of. If not, then I have no choice and will have to figure out what to do. Otherwise, if I can't remedy it tonight then of course that is what I will do; I will take it to the dealer first thing.

I'm guessing perhaps others 'may' have had this similiar issues. I haven't found any using search.

I seriously doubt the switches, wiring, and motors are any different from previous years and there are not a lot of complaints about this that I've seen. I'm sure it's isolated and that the dealer will be happy to take care of it.

This is a known problem, take it to the dealer and get it fixed. I had mine break 2 times.

Problem Solved:

****THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY NEW CAR*****

The only thing wrong with the car is that I am driving it! I still am greatful for all of your guys prompt feedback and help. I do appreciate it!

Solution:

On the drivers side door there is a Window Lock! I was not aware of it or probably forgotten about it if I saw it once before. So that makes me an IDIOT and I take full blame for not seeing this. I simply unpressed the window lock button and everything started working fine!

I though "Hmmm, perhaps its a child safety issue" then started looking for any buttons. And there is a windows lock....which I'm sure is a child safety feature.

So, my apologies to all! But, that's why I asked the question....since it could be something like this that I wasn't seeing.

Thank you everyone!

FYI, BCM stands for Body Control Module. All your switches, lights and locks are connected to or controlled by this little computer.
