Default Service Engine Soon Light

Hey guys, how do you get that light to go away. I know there should be a way to reset it.

Go to a autozone, they have the tool to do it. You probably just had a loose gas cap..

They will reset it and also tell you what made the light come on.

Disconnect your battery overnight or go to autozone and they'll read the code and reset it for you. The throttle-ignition switch trick is too damn complicated.

The CEL light ON may identify a significant problem. Have OBDII read, and see what the code is.

Find out code first. All I have ever done is disconnect the battery for 10 min. This has always worked for me. I don't know why some people say overnight or one hour to disconnect battery. And there not wrong but I was told 10 min. and it's always work for me. Does anyone know the reason behind this?
