Car wont hold idle when starting up
Hey guys recently my engine service light came on because of my aftermarket steering wheel and cam sensor. my mechanic told me it should be fine and to reset my ecu by unplugging the battery. i unplugged the negative for about a couple of hours and the light went away, but now when i start the car it wont hold idle and dies. when i start it up and rev it before its about to die, then it idles fine. i doubt it has to do with the cel light but maybe its the ecu? i have an intake and exhaust w/test pipes..anyone experience this problem? anyone know what it could be?

nope. a friend suggested since i just reset the battery, my car needs to be driven for a little for my ecu to get used to my mods, only driven about 5-10 miles max after resetting..

try taking the intake tube off and spraying some throttle body cleaner in there while the motors running, you're gonna have to have someone in the car stepping on the gas lightly so the car doesnt choke out, also you're gonna have to keep the intake somewhat connected cause of the maf sensor. Hopefully this helps but cant guarantee anything seeing as how its an electronic throttle.

1st) Try the ECU Reset/Throttle Relearn procedures available on Technosquare's website
2nd) If that doesn't work, remove and clean your TB, then perform the throttle relearn
3rd) If that doesn't work, try having a dealer or someone with Cipher raise your idle 200rpm
If that doesn't work, you have other options, but not sure you'd want to persue them (drill a 1/8th" hole in the TB butterfly plate to allow a little more air in at idle, etc.).
Do a search for "stall" or "idle" in the title and you will see many people have had this problem and fixed it at little-no cost. Just seems to happen after a few mods; or even just an intake. Mine didn't do it until I had test pipes and reflash performed on my car (after I had all other boltons).

finally fixed!!!! first i tried a bottle of lucas injector cleaner and then the technosquare procedures but it wasnt it. then i got some throttle body cleaner and cleaned the throttle body. there was a lot of black buildup and it was it! i only cleaned the outside of the tb since i barely opened the butterfly valve since i was scared cuz it is an Electric-throttle body. can i open it up no problem?
