When the car is parked if I take the steering wheel and do a few turns left to right there's a clunking noise coming from the wheel area.

I cannot otherwise hear this noise when driving or turning, etc...

Any ideas? Balljoints or control arms?

 

Chances are it's your endlinks. Cheap fix.

 

Are you talking about the pop clunk type a noise almost sounds like like something is popping out. Scary sound i was wondering what that is too can some one please explain and how to fix it.
