lemon law
Must be in the shop for the SAME problem repeatedly, and if after several attempts to repair it, they cant, then the dealership can either pay you back, what you paid into the car, essentially buying it back, or give you a new one.
figuring your in Tampa, FL with me it is a PITA. Depending on your circumstance but Lemon Law can be filed if the A substantial defect or condition is a problem that substantially impairs the use, value, or safety of the vehicle.
There are several ways you can file the lemon law, like the dealer attempting to fix a major repair (oil consumption, bad tranny) more than 3 times with the same failing result, you may be able to file.
If your car is out of commission more than 15 days out of the month due to reoccuring reparis you may be able to file.
Honestly your best bet would be contact an Auto laywer, and discuss your exact situation with him. He'll probably speak to you for free, and you will be able to get a good understanding on how close you are, or if you can at all file for the lemon law clause.
Google Florida Lemon Law and you should be able to find all kinds of guidelines and information on it.
I hope this has helped.
**Edit** let me add even if you do file lemon law on your Z, expect it to be 6months to a year before you see any return of money or a new Z to hop in. I had to lemon law a Durango for an A/C leak inside the cabin. It was a nightmare.... but i got my money back after 9months. (14k dollars they didn't want to give it back)
