Unhappy water leaking from underbody

My Z is 2004.5 touring 30K miles.

I was changing coolant this afternoon and found that there were some kind of water leaking from one of the four black rubber pipes (please see attached images).

At first I thought it's AC water, but now I realized I didn't turn AC on at all so I checked the car just now. It's not leaking anymore but there is some water stain on the ground.

Anyone has any idea what it is? Or it's just AC condensation water?

Thanks.

Those look like fuel lines. Have you smelt the fluid?

Yeah. There is no smell. Just like water.

I wouldn't worry about it then. The only water a vehicle emits is from the condesation of the A/C. There are no vital H2O fluids running through the vehicle. I can't explain how the water got there in the 1st place, but chit happens sometime. Is it still present?

It looks like everytime I drive the car, I can find water dropping from that place. But after parking it for a while, it stops. I didn't use A/C recenlty since it's quite cool here right now.

Hmm, from the 2nd pic I can tell it's been present for awhile. This is evident because of the amount of rust on that retaining bracket. This might be a crazy question, but the days you notice this is it raining outside? When did this start? Have you had any types of spills in your car lately?

Haven't rained for over a week. I just found this when changing coolant last weekend. Maybe I should ask the dealer to take a look at this since the car is sitting in their garage waiting for the new tranny... But I'm afraid they will just tell me that's AC water this kind of crap, which they are alwaysing doing.

Actually vo7848 you remind me something. occasionally I hear some werid water splashing sound in the front when passing bumps or breake a bit heavily. Maybe there is some water stuck somewhere in the underbody? But I didn't see any stain in the car.

Thanks very much for all your help vo7848.

The water splahing sound is normal. I get it too. I think it's the windshield wiper fluid..

i have the same problem.. 2004.5 base model. it leaks noticeably right after a drive, but goes away after a while. leaks from the same exact area and appears to be water, no smell at all. strange indeed. anyone figure out the source of the leak?
