Default OEM Clutch or Aftermarket Clutch?

I feel that my clutch may need to be replaced in the near future. It was bought used and the brakes/clutch wear is unknown to me. Car has 34,00 miles on it, 2003 Enthusiast. I am trying to improve the car in any way possible to make it last another 4 years or longer. This is a daily driver, too/from work, friends house, occasional road trip. May try the 1/4 mile once to see what I can do.

What benefits me better? Is the OEM clutch and install price worth the money or over priced? Should I consider buying an aftermarket clutch? I'd like longevity over performance for the price. LMK thanks!

I had to get my clutch and flywheel replaced.....went with JWT Flywheel and Nismo Clutch, was alot cheaper than OEM replacements.

Yeah I figured they were/are charging lots for OEM parts especially something like a clutch. Figured all you tuners out there knew what to get, where, and good performance for the money. Noted on the JWT and Nismon, very good replacements/upgrades?

The OEM clutch is cheap, but what's really expensive is the OEM flywheel.

I'm about to be in the same boat. My car has 31,xxx miles on it and when i was in bumper to bumper traffic, the clutch pedal started sticking. I haven't checked my fluid just in case, but i'm pretty sure it's the abused stock clutch. I see people with jwt and fidanza equipment. Do you do the install yourself? or do you take the parts somewhere? Also i can't find my warranty the moment, do any of you know if the basic 2 year/ 36,000 mile warranty covers a clutch replacement?

No it is not covered under warrantee, the reason is that it is a wearable part like brakes, the more you use it the more it wears out. (manual only)
