Can anyone help "decode" my code?
Used silverbullet's technique below. The repeating numbers, w/pauses in between, are as follows. 8 fast, 3 fast, 1 slow, 2 kinda medium. Yes, I'm sure. I assume from looking at the code list that this must be either a 1283 or a 2831, to keep those numbers in the proper order, but neither of those codes is on the list. I've repeated it and am sure about the blinks, but can't figure if I've missed something, or if somehow there could be 2 codes I'm unable to figure out. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

I don't think you're reading the code right. The blinking rate alternates from fast to slow to fast to slow.. then it repeats (either a brand new code or repeats the first code - 4 digits).

P0057 here... Just replaced the bank 2 sensor 2 and the same code is showing... My exhaust has a lil crack all the way in the back, it has to be it but i'm not sure... Checking the wires this weekend... Just wanna get it fixed... My car is doing like 13 mpg...
I just ran the little ignition code tester sequence you guys listed on page one and this is what I get....It flashes slow ten times. Pause. Then fast 5 times. Pause. Then fast 7 times. Then repeats. I assume that would be 1057 as the code, but I don't see that one listed??? HELP!
You didn't read it right. The 2 blinking speeds will always alternate. Also, if it flashes 10 times, then it's a 0.
What's the code? It could be a minor problem or a prelude to something major.

two codes
Getting 2 codes that the obd2 showed after my ses light came on the other day.
P0171 System too lean (Bank 1) and P0327 Knock sensor 1 circuit low input (Bank 1). I've searched the forums and seen similar problems, but so far the possible causes seem to run the gamut from intakes/plenums/mafs/throttles/knock sensors, and on and on...
A little back story...I've been gone for about 5 weeks and the car just sat. Before that, I was driving home from work, when the engine started to chug and pull, like it was erratically losing power. It went away, then came back, about 2 or 3 times. I called some mechanically inclined friends, and after they asked me where I gassed up (a place apparently known for having crappy fuel tanks that sometimes get water in them, which I didn't know!), they both thought it was bad fuel, or water in the fuel. So I bought some octane booster and some sea-foam, as per their recommendation. Ever since then the car will sometimes start, sometimes won't, and throws these 2 codes, although the ses light is off now. When it starts, it will idle high, around 1200 rpm, then drop down and sort of level out and the normal 750-800 area. it sporatically chugs and sputters, to the point where it will sometimes die if i don't touch the throttle. i rev it to about 2000, and it almost sounds normal, so i let it idle again, and the whole process starts over. sometimes it will run 10 minutes, other times it doesn't want to even start.
Just some amplifying info: aftermarket "short ram" intake and hks hi power cat back exhaust. those are the only bolt ons so far, and the exhaust has been on a while now. (haven't touched headers/cats or 02 sensors yet)
Any suggestions? Should I try to drive it to a mechanic? I'm worried about the knock sensor, I really don't wanna ruin the engine! Thanks. (sorry for long post)
