Fked Up + Loose Ground Wire? **PICS***
So the other day Im driving down Pratt Street out in Baltimore and a car trys to merge into my lane without checking to see if anyone was there...end result: I hit a curb going approx 35-40mph, luckily it didn't bend the rim or deflate the tire but it is pretty chewed up.
Any Suggestions?
ALSO...
After looking under the rear of the car I noticed a wire dangling down that obviously should not be there.
Can anyone tell me what this is?
Can anyone tell me where to reattach it?
I posted pics from the best angle I could get but I can take a few more if necessary. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

ya in the middle pic on your 2nd post it goes on that exhaust bolt you see there, but you are missing a nut. I dont see how that nut would of came off without breaking that bolt though, unless it was really loose, or wasnt there in the first place. Did you take your car to a dealer recently for any reason? Did you have the recall done were they had to replace fuel lines or whatever it was?
I am thinking it was off before your accident, and you just noticed it because you are looking

Just everyone has said, it IS the grounding wire that should be between the mid-pipe and the exhaust. Just unbolt the exhaust nut and place ground wire on bolt and re-screw! Your done.
man thanks a lot guys...I did in fact bring my car in for the fuel line recall and they must have not replaced it correctly. Thanks for your info and that one pic. Im confident it should be a quick easy fix.
Also I was looking at getting the wheels below, think they'd look good? Figured since I ****ed up my stock I'd keep them for winter and hook myself up with some new rims/tires.

Rims are nice. Perfect excuse to get some new shoes.
