Hi, I just noticed something the other day.
When the car goes really fast (more than 110 mph) a whistling noise starts to sound at the center of the engine bay.
It is not because the RPMs because it does not happen when I rev up....
Any suggestions? (besides not driving at that speed)
Kat.

Hard to say what turbulent affects are taking place at a 100 +. Could be a readjustment on the angle of a Wiper arm 1/8 inch or rear cowl seal or a dozen other things. If it chaps your *** to that extent, all you can do is check your inlets and outlets and all components in between

Is not that it bothers me, I just wanted to know if it could be something wrong with any part of the car, or just wind going through it.
Thanks for the help.

Dont go 120? That'll make it silent. At 120 you should nto be concerned with random noises like that. Air drag (which causes the noise) is exponential proportional to velocity at higher speeds.
