hello everyone.. well i have an 06 5at z with 1500 miles on it and i just recently noticed everytime i drive it in mt mode i get a weird noise, kind of a little rattling noise while shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. this noise only happens while shifting at 3500+ rpm and only in those gears... can anyone help me with this question?? i want to know before i take it to the dealership for my first oil change...

 

I get a little chirpy screechy noise, that's very feint. You can hardly hear it. Is that what it is?

 

This maybe a dumb response, but my hatch rattles a little when the car is vibrating during higher revs.

 

Excuse me for going off topic. But how exactly do you enjoy the car while putting so little miles on it?

 

I get a nice click sound in my 07

 

i just got the car in july..it was still on the lot at this dealership next to me... i got a pretty good deal on it 5000 under sticker price..

 

yeah it kinda sounds like that do u think that it is normal?? cuz it only happenes in those 2 gears.. i know if i take it to the dealer they r gonna be like o what noise?? we dont hear anything...

O and no its not the hatch rattle lol..the noise is coming from the driver side..it sounds like the noise is coming from somewhere right in front of me...

 

I dunno, man. As long as it's not taking away from my performance and it's nothing I need to worry about, I think it's fine. I kind of like it!
