has anyone tried injectors yet ? could it be that as the injector(s) is off resistance and may not open properly/fully and cause this ? . . . just a hunch from a noob

For other vehicles I know that some similar "cold issues" occurs due to faulty coolant temperature sensor... Maybe it should be a track...

Few explanations:

I think that injectors issues will report a DTC, no ?

And maybe injector issue won't occur only in cold condition.

Glad to know it is not the clutch, but also mad that there is no end to this. Atleast my car hasn't done it for two days now. Maybe it knows I'm on the hunt and is laying low, waiting for my guard to come down. Then out of nowhere I'll start bouncing down the road at the most inopportune moment.

Are you sure your problem is the same as everyone elses? I'm hoping that it is, because my car just went out of warranty. Guess I'll be calling Nissan and getting an extended one.

sorry, i got lazy, i have posted all the issues and troubleshooting in past postings. i know these threads move fast.

here sooner, this is another thread in this forum...then i found my problem. its describes everything briefly

Head Gasket Freaky...

FYI, yesterday I also checked short term fuel trim and long (STFT and LTFT) during cold sputtering, with my ODB scan, and nothing unusal...

In addition with Air, Coolant Sensors Temp...

MAF also seems to be ok...

For my part the only parameter which appears outside standard is the primary O2 sensor voltage of Bank 2.

I have been running on the Haltech for the last 500mile and no sputtering anymore. (It used to happen most of the time with the exhaust different sound)

So, maybe its the MAF's after all, since my map tuned on MAP

Will report back if anything change.

so you replaced the ECU with a Standalone and the problem went away, hmm i think that might be the problem the self learn program. I think. if my car isn't Lemon and i can keep it I'll give it a go, but after 2 trannies, a CSC, leaking differential seal, and now Bad O2 sensors I think nissan is going to have a hard time not considering my car a Lemmon

do you get charged for mechanic appointments ? to properly recreate the problem , wouldn't you have to have the car cold started ? Do you just leave the car overnight ?

Your video is another verification of the problem. I think a lot of people come into this thread with other issues thinking it's the same thing. A few of us have posted vids exactly like yours.

still no end in sight.

So, few news from my mechanics... He checked the spark plugs wich are ok, but he thinking about an ignition coil issue, that it will check today !

It should be in line with those data: https://my350z.com/forum/vq35hr/5010...b-s1-help.html

Next step, will be to check the EVAP canister system...

Will keep you post !

And feel free to share your mechanic information's regarding this issue ! Does anyone ask his Nissan dealer to fix this problem ?

So.... Ignition Coils are OK, another false avenue ! But another way to eliminate !

Anyway, the mechanic found that one of the O2 sensor after catalyst (O2 B2-S2) don't work well... And this one start to work after the warm-up (closed loop)...

Then, waiting for a brand new O2 sensor, and for more information ! Tomorrow or Friday I guess !
