Default My Z shut down for no reason

The weirdest thing happened to my 2006 Z when I went to go put in the key and turned it NOTHING happened. I was kinda confused as to what was going on. Anything I kept trying and trying and the car would just not do anything.

So I go popped the hood to inspect the engine for a few minutes and everything looks normal so I put the key in and this time it started up normal and I noticed that the radio had reset itself because the time was different and none of my radio stations were preset.

So I am just confused as to what could have happened.

sounds like bad power connection

either a loose connection on power or ground

check all connections and also check battery connections for loose cables or corrosion.

Could also be a dying battery. Maybe a dry cell. I've had the same thing happen on a couple of cars.
