Default Has anybody gotten their Clevis Pin replaced?

If so, did it help your tranny grinds?.....Service Dept. just informed me that my Clevis Pin has arrived.....I'm doubtful that this is the cause of my grinds, but i'm having it put in on tuesday nonetheless

They should be replacing more than just your clevis pin. I was getting the infamous 3rd gear grind and took it in on Tuesday. By saturday, I had a new chevis pin, transmission, and master cylinder. Chances are if you've experienced some major grinding, your transmission is bye, bye. You might want to ask your service dept as MOST people have gotten their transmission replaced as well. Good luck!

IIRC, the clevis pin is replaced with every tranny. I didn't help mine at all. I have yet another tranny.

I had mine replaced last week. I've been told that replacing the clevis pin is just one of the steps before an new transmission is put in. The clevis pin doesn't seem to be working for me. I was getting an occasional grind that has become more frequent. I want to know if Nissan is going to recall the Z and recognize this as a problem.
