Where did you get the part for $30? My dealer wants over $130 for it.

I need to change mine out, I think its going bad.

If it were me and it was 130.00 and my time ---I would bypass it and maybe fix it if I sold the car. I work on cars so much, that I hate not being to reach in the window and just start the car.

Granted ---this is dangerous in this day and age of carelessness. Neutral Neutral Neutral and E Brake !!!!!

Old tractors were like that and I have yelled at nooby city folk to NEVER reach up and flip the switch---instant death

Im contradicting. Point is, if your in a bind and in the middle of no where-----there is a fix to get your *** home

I took a 14mm wrench and adjusted the clutch sensor distance closer to the pedal and it has worked great ever since. I most likely do not need a new sensor as of yet.

Would the starter turn still? Having start issues changed sensors, battery and got a different starter still nothing. The starter turns but doesn't crank the engine.

Negative. If this was the issue, the engine would not turn over the same as if you didn't have the clutch pushed in.

Default check the clutch

my 2003 350z randomly wouldn't crank or anything but the battery worked, radio, lights,ect... I ended up looking at my clutch pedal and noticed the button near it. I held that button and started her right away. Its an ignition switch you push in when you press the clutch to start the car.
