I have an 07 base MT. Anyone have this problem, where when I hit about 3500 rpm and shift maybe a little closer to 3k, i hear a very high pitched noise kinda like a beep, but very high pitched and just a quick note. does it in every gear. Tell me i'm not crazy..

 

im thinking it's your TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) system telling you that your tires are low on air. . ..after say 20mph it will beep for 10 seconds. .it's pretty annoying. .

 

I dont think thats it, its only a split second long noise.. but will do it in every gear, if I hav the radio on or the windows open I wont hear it, its that quit, but if the windows are up and radio off, I will hear it every time.

 

perhaps you have a vacuum leak somewhere. . .

I think those are the hydraulics in the tranny as you change gear, mine does it as well. Any experts wanna chime in on this one?

 

take it to the dealer i'm sure stills has warranty, they are replacing my tranny after several weird noises comming from the tranny
