i'm little confused. if it can't be to fix 100%
does it really necessary to fix this problem? .
I didn't say it can't be fixed, I meant if you replace it with new valve covers... it can come back. I think someone has had this issue as early as 11k miles on their Z.
I still haven't pay much mind to see if it fixed it or not but I can't imagine why it wouldn't unless I didn't seal it properly.
Can u post pics of your lil fix project? a lil DIY for the many other folks that seem to be having the same issue....
I didn't take pictures of the fix
Although it wasn't anything special to be honest. Basically we took the valve covers off and you can see the seals when you flip the valve covers over. Basically cleaned them thoroughly and used some RTV sealant around the seals and let it dry for a while (seemed to be the longest part). My buddy who helped was like WTF@no pictures
It was getting kind of late though and I was getting aggravated with little stupid issues I ran into that affected reinstalling them.
same thing happened to me today, i chaged my plugs and closest to steering wheel had some oil in there...so is there a need to do anything about this? if i do anything ill prolly just rtv it like blasian.....come on no pics of a fix it???lol
