Default BOTH front lights?!

I browsed through the other threads and didn't see anything in reference to this. You guys were great in helping me replace both window motors and now my front lights have stopped working...BOTH of them within a month. I do very little night driving so when I do need to, I just drive around with the brights on (Ya, not the safest SF city driving). So, basically, the high beams work as well as the parking lights but the main lights on the front have stopped working.

Is this a known thing? Has anyone else had to replace them and if so can recommend the cheapest replacement? I have a 03 base model btw...

Thanks as always!

Did you check the halogen bulbs? I think 03 base uses the standard 9006 variety.

If you use normal 9006 bulbs, try replacing them.

well hopefully i can just replace the fuse. thanks for the input tho guys! If i do need to replace those bulbs, i'll need to take off the bumper right? Is this hard? Never done it before...

Also, is it common for bulbs to go out? I've never left them and do very little night driving...

Its common for bulbs to go out (you car is 5 years old)....but unusual that both went out at the same time. First check the fuse, then check the bulb.

Ok, i've tried everything (yes i've been driving for 3 months with brights). wires, fuse, relay...time to buckle down and just do the bulbs. Does anyone have base model ones for sale? email directly if you have any hints as to where to get them (if not directly from you) jasonpurdy@gmail.com

thanks as always guys,

Jason

wow they are just lightbulbs dude. Ever replaced a lightbulb in your house? Its kinda the same idea.

Go to walmart or any auto parts store and buy 9006 bulbs for $10 each
