Hey guys any idea why this would be happening. I have the defi control box signal so the box can illuminate hooked up to the parking brake light wire and it blew the fuse then i tried it without the box hooked up and it blew it again it happens in matter of seconds after you put the new fuse and put on the parking lights. Only thing that i can think of is that its shorting out any other ideas let me know thanks

 

Blowing a fuse like that is pretty much always a short.

 

yea thats what i was thinking im just trying to see if i can anything else that i havent thought of anyone else?

 

I helped my friend fix this problem in his Pontiac. I looked under the dash around the brake pedal. One of the wires down there was chaffed and was shorting out.

He said he noticed a flash of light under the dash once while driving.

prolly an old thread, but my manual and cover don't tell me where brake light fuse is, please help me out, can't seem to find it.
