Default 60K service cost question?

Hi all,

I was wondering what I should expect to pay for my 60000 mile maintenance assuming nothing needs replaced? A list of items the dealership says need done are:
1 Balance/rotate tires (my tires cannot be rotated anyways)
2 Coolant flush
3 Install engine oil conditioner
4 Replace air filter (I have a pop charger so this won't apply)
5 check engine oil and filter
6 complete fuel system service
7 lubricate all doors, locks, hinges and chassis
8 brake inspection
9 Tranny flush

Also, does all this need done or will I void my warranty if everything does not get completed?

Thanks for the help!

That sounds pretty close to the 30K that I just had done. I didn't get air filter, had my own oil and they didn't do balance/rotate. They also did a brake fluid flush and refill and bleed. I paid $328.

That's not too bad. I paid the same amount for my 00 Celica.

for 60k i would say you would just change what needs to be done. I did my service a little early at 53k and got a full service(brake fluid, tranny fluid, diff fluid, coolant, powersteering ect)($600) and had to have my axles relubed and tightened($150)... it ran me about $750 in the end but it's worth it

oh ... do the brake pads yourself if needed and you might need your belts changed

1. Oil and filter
2. Replace coolant
3. Replace brake fluid
4. Replace differential oil

About $200 for a reputable shop.

$750? Thats nuts! My maintenance on my BMW was cheaper than that...but I guess it kinda depends where in the country you live Anyways, I called the shop this morning once they opened and they said typically its around $350.

Thanks for all the input everyone!

Does anyone believe in the fuel system service that the dealers try to sell for upwards of $100???

Do they do anything other than just add a can of fuel injector cleaner and/or clean out the throttle body? and maybe the MAF?

I'm close to 30k service and I wonder if Power steering fluid needs to be flushed? In Nissan service guide, it never mentions to replace the power steering fluid, only top-off. Thanks.

I did the full 60,000 service on my Sentra a few years ago and it cost about $850. I'm just about 60k in my Z now and I don't plan on doing it again...too much money for things that likely aren't necessary. Just gonna have them do the usual, inspection and a few other things...fluid flushes and spark plugs probably.
