Default airbag light

The light on the guage cluster that shows a guy sitting in the seat getting blasted by an airbag came on and my z has never been crashed or had the airbags gone off. i took it to the dealer to see if they could turn it off, they said yeah for $110. is there any cheaper way i can get this light to go off.

I already tried leaving the battery unhooked.

thanks

I've washed my car multiple times but this past time it set off the airbag warning light. I called up Gresham Nissan and they said it happens all the time when they wash there Z's and the the sensor got wet and to give it a couple days.... It's been a couple days and it's still on.

Turn ignition switch from OFF to ON.
Air Bag warning lamp is on for 7 seconds and turns off, the turn ignition switch OFF within 1 second after the lamp turn off.
After ignition switch is turned OFF, wait for more than 3 seconds.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 twice. (Perform 3 times in total.)
Turn Ignition switch ON.
The SRS lamp has been reset it.

EDIT: This actually works. I just did it and it turned off my airbag light.

Do what 350 Rookie posted. I have to do this everytime time I wash the car. Easy to reset and takes about 30 seconds. I usually do it when I am filling up with gas.
