new clevis pin
I had the dealer order a new clevis pin because from day one my clutch has never felt right. It seems that it engages too high up (clutch), if this makes sense. I bought it back in october and this has always bugged me, but I hope it fixes the problem. Anyone here that has had it replaced i would like to know the difference, thanks for the help, brad.

I always thought that the sweet spot was a little high up on the clutch, but then again I thought it was supposed to be normal on the Z. Let us know how your replacement goes.... BTW, the work is out of your own budget and not on warranty, right?

Replacing the clevis pin was an early fix for those of us with early tranny problems. It doesn't seem to have fixed anything.
For reference, even with the new pin my clutch still engages quite high up. But it doesn't bother me too much. Hopefully, they will get your's adjusted to your liking.

I noticed that the engagement point on the clutch is a little high up... and I had THOUGHT that it was a lot lower when I first got the car. I've only had the Z for two weeks, and 700 miles... and it just feels like the engagement should be a lot LOWER.
Is there a way to adjust this?
