Default Gas pedal wasn't responding!!

driving along the freeway on 6th gear, slowing down for traffic which i let off the gas pedal but when i pressed down the gas pedal...the car didn't respond. assumed it was on neutral but looked down to see that it was still in 6th gear. So i pumped the gas pedal..the RPM gauge didn't move at all. soo after few seconds and a few gas pumping on the pedal it began to rev. again. Sooo, anyone here in the forum have it happen to them??? my Z is an 06 enth. have a injen CAI & TPs. Anything i should be worrying about or looking into?? Thanks in advantage & greatly appreciate for those who helps out!

how slow did you actually "slow for traffic"? 6th won't do much if you're in stop and go traffic

im not sure how fast i was going..but i remember that the rpm was above 2k. well..i have some kind of theory..and it is that i have 19in rim and maybe it may have not been properly balanced right and may cause my traction control to throw off the gas responses. sounds kind of logical??
