Default no power after warmup

like the title says...when i first start the car...feels great!! i usually can get one good merge onto the freeway. then it just feels like crap. i step on teh gas and it hesitates badly. im thinking maybe a bad knock sensor. feels like it retards teh timing a whole lot. and when i have my AC on its even worse. i have to feathter the throttle when i go from a stop also. any ideas?

BTW...where is the knock sensor? i can replace it for pretty cheap. or is there a mod like on the spec-V where you just unplug it and ziptie it somewhere? i know that worked on that car lol...
