had a 2005 ZR for about a week+ now, and encountered a problem today....

key fob does not work. tried 2 new batteries, proper 2025's, and not a help there...

car was fine this morning when i got to work, got out, locked it, what have you....

went out to go to the bank @ noon, dropped top, called back in the building...rolled windows up and went inside...

came out, key fob would not work..hit trunk button to see if all buttons were jacked....trunk popped...then i hit the unlock button and it worked..

went to the bank, came back and left top down but windows up....

back out later, windows DOWN automatically....!!!

key fob will not work, again, batteries replaced with 2 different ones just to be sure....

key fob still not working...however, if i seperate teh fob and reattach the 2 halves, it will wither chirp or flash the lights 3x consecutively, alternating b/t the two...

help, search pulls nothing....

***fwiw, i am scheduled to have an alarm with proximity sensor installed on the 5th of january.....can i simply have my buddy's shop bypass this factory keyless entry/alarm?
