It dies?
when my car died on me while i was driving
It turned out to be the crankshaft position sensor
either its not properly mount on the tranny
or its dead so replace it
Go figure i have an 03 and it did the same thing around those same amount of miles

One of 2 things will make the vehicle cut off white driving Cam and or Crank Sensor being no good. The thing that does not make sense is the no power to radio and other electronic devices. It is possible that your batt is dead, and or your alt is not charging. If your alt is not charging and your battery has exceeded it's limit say from the radio and HIDs then yeah your car will shut down due to insufficient power not provided from the batt. Another factor being in NJ this week is the COLD A$$ WEATHER!!! Best bet is that somewhere you have an electrical problem thats causing all these issues.
Im guessing that you may have an ignition switch problem as well. The starter will not cause the car to shut off once started cause it is only powered up in the START position on the ignition switch. So starter's out of the Question. My idea would be to jiggle and play with the ignition switch and key in and out and try to crank then....might be your issue.

If that doesn't work then yes, test the battery. As other members have confirmed, it could have enough juice to light the headlamps but not start the car. Having it tested is usually free to do and will either confirm it as being the problem or rule it out.
If you do have an aftermarket alarm that could still be the problem but when trying to diagnose these sort of things you want to start with the easiest/least expensive solutions first and work your way from there.
I will say however, that I doubt it's the crank positioning sensor. That would cause the car to stop running but wouldn't keep it from turning over. If the car won't even crank then your problem (hopefully) lies somewhere between the battery and starter. Unfortunately there's a lot more ground to cover between the two than one would expect.
BTW... If your headlights have burnt out don't just drive around everywhere with your high-beams on, REPLACE THE BULBS. If that's any indication of how well you maintain your car I'm not surprised you're having problems with it.

Dead batteries or batteries that wont crank your car will click click click when you turn the key. if its not doing that, its not the battery. The click click is the spark, so no click click, no spark spark. I would test your altenator, check your belts.
If it was your crank sensor you would probably have a CIL, but its possible it hasn't thrown one yet because it is intermintate?

Do you have an aftermarket alarm? If so try turning the key forward and back, to the on then off position six or seven times, then all the way to the start position on the last turn.

i jsut have little time to fix all these things and lil money.
yeah i do like the sport car and i spend the money on it...still doesn't mean i am tool at maintenance haha....
i drive teh car quiet ezily, the hid are only screwed with bc of my splash shield popping out when i hit a hole and just literally breaking the something in the hid...i was running on 1 hid then some other tool hit my fender..oh and guess what busted the other...so i gotta ge it fixed while its at the shop now...
lol dont think i am big douche with my car.. =]..let u guys know what is the prob.
aight, so i got a call today and the guy tells me its the battery, apperently my battery was EFFED i am going to take a look in a little bit. Also he said the ignition tumbler? i hope that correct, it burned out and possible fire could've happend. True? idk
so i need another input, how much usually something like that would be to fix, no labor?
