Default warrenty help

i got my car used.

i still have under 60k miles. but its a 2004.

so i have no idea when the car was purchased.
cause i think im begining to feel the symptoms of the grindy 3rd gear.

so how could i find out when my warrenty date started?

im talking about the power train warrenty of course.

thanks!

A carfax report may tell you when the car was placed in service. Or you can ask a Nissan dealer to check.

Only a dealer or NNA can tell you the in-service date.

Good luck on trying to get them to do something about "symptoms of the grindy 3rd gear". Unless it's obvious and reproducable (grinding), they will claim that it's normal.

bassically it feels like there is a notch in 3rd gear.

but if i shift SLOW and carefully it shifts into 3rd fine.
maybe i just need some new tranny fluid?
