I was gonna say maybe moisture condensation inside the fuel tank. Car wont run on water. : )
I'd drain the tank. Fill it back up with a little injector cleaner. A little.

But now it sounds like a ECU issue.

Default Just Happened to my 03 Brickyard

I just got my car back after 2 weeks at a tranny place that was supposed to be a 2 day job. So i dropped it off in the morning and planned on getting it the next night, it had less than a quarter tank in it... for a little over 2 weeks.
It turns on, but idle was low and shaky, i didnt think anything of it. It drove totally fine but later that night, I gave it a bit of juice and decided to coast down the road: I clutched and put the stick in neutral and as the revs fell from about 4500/5000, they kept going to 0. My car stalled out at about 60mph....not good. Its done it twice since.
Could this be condensation in the tank? im hoping it'll burn away or re-learn...

I have the same issue on both my 04 350z and 04 G35 after spending the last week installing stereo systems in each that included disconnecting the battery. All the responses I got on the G35 forum seemed useless(clean TB, clean MAF, alternator bad) which none of those explain 2 different cars having the same issue at the same time. I am going to try to reset the ECU, pedal, and TB on the G35 while I am going to let my wife just run a couple tanks of gas thru the 350z. Ill post back which way works if one does unless anyone else has any suggestions.

check the ignition and make sure everything is plugged in. Make sure you are getting fuel, check the fuel pressure relief valve

I managed to reset the ECU on the G35 a couple times both hot and cold and still the same issue on warm crank so I dont think thats going to do it. Everything is plugged up on both and no idea was a pressure release valve for the fuel is or would be.

Not taking a stab at anyone but if you look around on the the topic of "disconnected battery and now it dies on warm crank" you will find 20 different solutions and to me none of them really make sense. It especially makes no sense because I have 2 different cars, 04 350z and 04 G35, and they each did the exact same thing after disconnecting the battery. Battery and alternators on both are fine and I really doubt that both are suddenly dirty or something went out on both at the same time.

Do understand I welcome any and all explanations but so far the best one I have seen is just drive it and it will go away after while since the ECU reset. Cleaning the TB or MAF or whatever may speed up the process but still wouldn't be the reason for it starting after the battery has been disconnect.

Ok, done venting, just annoyed at how common the problem seems and no sure fire common answer.

On the plus side my wife has said that the 350z has been catching itself the last couple of days, still dipping low but getting better and I did nothing on that car to try and resolve the issue.

I have this problem after installing a new battery.

Engine would stall and shut down when warm. But if I rev it up a bit it stays on.

Will report back if the ECU relearns and improves...

EDIT: Just realized this is an old thread that's no longer really about the 1st post...

ltruong, just drive the car for a bit. That should sort you out.
