Question I get a low input knock sensor an multiple miss fire codes every now an then. It comes stays for a day or two but than its gone for a while. But the car almost always runs horribly. If the knock sensor was bad wouldn't the light stay? An if it was the knock sensor wouldn't it just run poorly when the cell was on?

Yes all you need is that harness, z1 now sells it separately which is great because you don't have to buy the whole injection harness for it. And no it will not make the SEL light stay on but when you check it it'll always be there.

Reconnect everything, Make sure there's no air leaks then reset your ECU .

Bringing this back from the dead real quick. my 04 with 119k threw the P0327 (low input knock sensor yada yada) and a P0302 (cylinder 2 misfire).

I just want to clarify..for the knock sensor code, I do NOT need to replace the knock sensor, just the harness, right? Looks like thats what I'm reading in a few places

Will a knock sensor problem cause a 350z to not start?
