Angry Drivers window goes auto up, then halfway down on its own?

I had my grease streaks on Windows repaired months ago and now I have been experiencing a intermittent problem when I auto up both windows at the same time the driver's window decides to go back down halfway after reaching the top

I thought I remember someone mentioned this happening to them but I could not find it by searching.

This use to happen to my benz....

I'm assuming that since the windows have a mechanism that keeps it from accidently closing on your hand or taking your head off...it will automatically bounce back if something was in the window. Apparently, something has made the window far too sensitive. On the way up it hits the rubber seal part too hard thinking that it's hitting something instead of completely closing itself...therefore it bounces back.

This is just my assumption....I usually inch the window up slowly until it closed back into place and everything is alligned. This crap usually came and went on the Benz...I never bothered reporting it during service check ups because it wasn't a huge problem to me. I had bigger problems like blinker lights going out ALL the time!

Had the same problem...Take it to the dealer, it's only an adjustment.

The window regulator needs to be reprogrammed... after greas streak fix, I had this problem, too. Got it taken care of at the last dealer visit.

Had the same problem. Victory Nissan blamed it on the tint install and fixed it anyway. They say it was out of adjustment

I just encountered the same problem on the passenger side. I took it to the dealer and they said it wasn't covered under warranty b/c i had installed speakers in the doors (and the battery was dissconnected). They put "reset PCM" on the invoice and charged me $69... anyone know if i should go back and demand a refund... i figured it was just and adjustment thing, but they assured me it was the PCM (??)
