cupping sometimes indicates low tire pressure.... I'd check that before going up to the dealer. Not likely something that would be covered under warranty.
Go to the dealer, they should be familiar with the problem. If not, tell them to look at the TSB Tire Road Noise NTB03-006. That instructs them to align the car and rotate the front tires which is not much of a solution. However, many dealers will go ahead and replace the tires right away. Mine did. The bigger problem is that it will most likely return even after the alignment. There are several lengthy posts here with more pissed off Z owners than you can shake a stick at.
