Default Wa Wa Wa sound

I have a 2008 base model 350Z with 8000 miles. As I drive I hear a "wa wa wa" sound. As I speed up the sound goes faster. Could it be my tires?

Has anyone experienced the same issue? What should I expect from the dealer when I bring this issue up?

Sounds like a baby. You should turn it in to the closest fire station.

-------------------------------

You need to be more specific for us to help you. You're better off just going to the dealer with your warranty in place.

Probably the wa-wa valve is jammed-up with backpressure.

Here's a better description:

10 mph: wa...................wa......................wa............. ... etc.
20 mph: wa.......wa........wa.........wa..........wa.......wa....... . etc.
30 mph: wa....wa....wa....wa....wa....wa....wa... etc.
40 mph: wa..wa..wa..wa..etc.

I'm taking it to the dealer on Monday.

So with the exception of the guys who have babies in the "backseat" of their 350Z, hopefully they're using a child seat, does anyone have any experience with this problem?

It's your tires. Is it almost like a whum whum sound?

I think it's more of a woo-woo sound, myself.

WOO WOOOOO.

may be a damaged differential. does the wa wa change at all between acceleration and deceleration? with the open rear on the base its prone to bad wheel hop which can damage the rear diff..

The sounds stays consistent. It does sound like it's coming from a rear tire.

most likely its a tire. Try to narrow down the location of the sound. Front? Back? Left? Right? If you had recently slammed on your brakes really hard, that could have caused a slight bald spot on your tire. This had happened to me on my chevy truck. For the longest time i thought the freeway was really getting out of shape, but winds up it was my tires

It was a wheel bearing and covered under warranty.
