Default Temp Reading

What could I have left disconnected that would disable only the
temperature display reading when I removed the center console?

Tire pressure, miles per gallon etc are unchanged and still show.

I was adding a rear view camera to my Avic D3.

The temp just shows horizontal bars with the word ice, or maybe icy

reseat every connection, look for something called electrosol (we use it on blackhawks, no clue if civilians can get it) and spray it in all the connections.

Check the plugs for your climate controls.

I was going to check the connections today when as I backed the car
out of the garage, it was displaying the temperature.

I guess it took time to register the temp after being unplugged?

Possibly. I know that if you don't plug in the climate controls you can get the ICY reading but the AC will also blow on full blast.

Here's to hoping your car works without you having to tear it apart again.
