Default HELP!! Car shakes at 2000 RPM!! HELP

Can someone please help me, K when I'm in neutral I REV the engine up to like 5000 everything is fine, but when it drops to like around 2000 to 1500 the car shakes, then it drops down to 500 with no problem. I repeat this process a couple of times and still the same thing happens. What should i do?
I have only bolt on parts. Someone please help!!!

500 is a tad low for the idle. Are you sure you don't have a vacuum leak with your "bolt on" parts? Is a plenum spacer involved?

Is there any sound when it shakes? Is it a vibrating shake or is it a legit shake?

I dunno that much about cars. But from what it sounds like, is the tachometer needle bouncing up and down and down and then the rpm drops causing the car to shudder?!

My buddy's old mustang had that problem and it was a cracked head gasket and possibly a bad spark plug causing misfiring or something to that order. Get it diagnosed..

i would check all around the plenum and your bolt ons......listen for any leaks, have someone else do the reving you were doing and listen for the defect.

if not, take the car in and have them check it out.

no engine light/codes yet?

me and my friend just did that this morning. (with the car warmed up) i hear no leaks. i though it might be the air sensor. cause i did over oil the pop-charger and ran it for like 500 miles. then replace it with a brand new one. I'm getting 19 MPG now on the freeway don't know about local.

I think I know what you’re talking about... Are you talking about as you are decelerating or accelerating slowly in a specific gear that it happens to cross the 2000-2300 - 1700(Maybe not this low) RPM area and begins to receive a awkward and pronounced vibration through the car... i.e. Steering Wheel, Shifter, perhaps maybe the clutch pedal and other pedals..?

I wonder what it is... if that is the "Shake" or "Vibration" that you are talking about.. Could it be perfectly "normal" like the loud throw out bearing or crazy clutch that these cars have?

I have wondered about this... Could it be a mechanical issue? Maybe we need to get some of those "Engine Stabilizer" mechanisms in order to avoid the shake of the engine or drive train..? This is only a suggestion...

Does anyone experience this atrocity?

As a reference, I have a 2008 Base…
