Brake light on and off

Just wanted to see if anyone knew whats causing my brake light to come on anytime I hit the brakes harder than usual? the brakes seems like they're working fine and the dashlight only stays on for a few seconds then goes away. I have an 03 performance btw. Thanks

I suspect you have low fluid in the master cylinder. The cause could be worn pads. You might want to check.....................

Low fluid. Read your owners manual - the warning lights are all explained there.

yeah most likely low fluids.
possiblly air bubble---->needs bleeding? but it should be that unless you are that low on fluid as it is a closed system.

How is petal firmness?
