Go back to the general Maintenance and Repair forum, click on "search" and type in "air bag." There are quite a few threads that walk you through, step by step resetting the air bag warning light. If that doesn't work, take it in for servicing. If it has something to do with the air bag sensor or the electronics, there is a chance you will not have to pay for the repair, even if the car is out of warranty unless the problem was caused by your hitting the curb.

thanks JMT, after searching i found this:

Turn the key in the ignition until the cars electrical powers up, but don't start the car.

Watch the airbag light carefully during this process. It will come on, but will go out before it starts the annoying flashing. at the VERY MOMENT it goes out, turn the ignition to OFF.

Wait about 5-7 seconds, and turn the key to ON again....but still, do not start the car. As soon as the airbag light goes out, turn the key to OFF again, and wait 5-7 seconds.

Repeat this 3-4 times, and then turn the ignition to OFF.

I take the key out and wait about 10 seconds before starting the car.

Now watch the startup on the dash lights, and see if once the airbag light goes out....it stays off.

and that did the trick for me...sorry for wasting this space but thanks!

Did your airbag deploy?

Might be why.

You didn't say how hard you hit the curb.

Have you recently pulled out your stereo system?

I have heard a tip when installing Satellite Radio, GPS or any accessory that requires the center dash or console removal with pass side srs indicator: Either disconnect the battery or do not disconnect the switch indicator as it can then cause the light to come on and start the annoying flash which brings you to a thread like this.

Repairing wiring on an air bag system is not recommended because the resistance of the wire may be different after repair. This may cause the air bag to deploy at the wrong time or not at all.

Just did a little research...please dont give me more credit than I deserve, this was NOT from the "Off the top of my head" knowledge, I just was interested and spent a few minutes doing some detective work.
