Rough Sound when at low rpm's
so ive got a 03 350z (6speedmanual)
and when driving along say in 4th gear at 1k rpms and if i give it a little gas
the car has a rough sound when accelerating. im guessing it's a normal sound, but am i causing premature wear or putting some parts under too much stress by doing this?
also how do i set the time on the radio?

lol...oh geeze
im talking about just cruising along through a sub-division....
and what's so wrong about referring to 1000 rpms as 1k rpms?
i think everyone can understand what i meant..
and the time has me stumped and the previous owner lost the owners manual...
i'd appreciate it if you could help me out..

We all know what you meant by 1k rpms, but it makes no sense to be in 4th gear at 1k.
If you're trying to be quiet, your engine is probably making more noise struggling to move the car at 1,000rpm in 4th than it would at 2500 in 3rd.

1K in 4th? I think I idle near 700! First gear is the only girl I am around 1K. Average 2500 in a hood. Whoever said 2500 in 3rd is right one in a hood. I like to be a little louder so I come in 2nd at 3500-4000! :P
