Default brake warning + VDC off + slip lights

I took my car to the track yesterday.....drove with VDC off.

Now, every time I start the car, brake + VDC off + slip lights come on & stay on......anyone have experience with this issue?......any idea?

I have never been in a competition, where the car is put through extensive wheel spin, but I have had a few occasions when the slip light stayed on after some quality donut fun. The light stays on until I shut off the car and has not come back on after restart. So, you got me as to why yours isn't eventually turning off?

Is your car in limp mode??

Could be low brake fluid or not enough meat on your brake pads, which could both be the result after a track day...

I'm sure the mods are moving this to the maintenance section, which is a good place to start looking for your answer...

The car drives fine.....brake, no problem....fluid is at an acceptable level.

i wonder if the electronic got "confused"....never drove with VDC off before.

The VDC-TCS-ABS computer is finicky. Give it a couple of days before resetting the ECU.

^ possibly dumb questions;
-why wait for a couple of days?
-can I reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for a few hours?
Thanks for your input.....

actually, I may have found an answer.....A thread in the brake & suspension section.
Someone had an exact same issue as me....& a bit of brake fluid solved the problem.
https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...fter-hpde.html

My brake fluid is above MIN. level but, not by much. I'll try that tonight.
Thanks again for the input.
