Post Tranny/Nismo info. from NNA

I have been one of the unlucky ones to have to need my tranny replaced b/c of bad syncro's. I have been calling NNA and my Dealer trying to figure out what is the "fix" so this will not happen again......This is what I was told from the dealer that called Techline and NNA rep. that called them also.......

Japan's Engineers say American's are lazy and don't push the clutch pedal all the way down which mean that the "clevis" is not lifting all the way up and allowing the tranny to work properly. So, the fix is to adjust the clutch and make the clevis longer so that it lifts all the way up when shifting gears. (I hope I explained that right). They also said that this should be the last "fix" that this tranny will have to have.....so after being insulted that is some good news. uke:

Also I would like to share a name at NNA that is the "guru" for the NISMO parts. His name is Treavor. Just call the 1-800-nissan1 and ask for him. He was very helpful also got some prices and info from him on the NISMO body kit!!! It will be Urethane!!! and it is a lip kit not a full front and rear bumber replacement the spoiler from and rear lips are going to be $350.00 EACH and BOTH side skirts are going to be $500.00 they are due out at the end of Dec. Just thought I would pass on all the info that I have gathered today................:rockband:
