Question my z crackles when i drive??

hey ,

i've been searching for this for a while and really don't even know how to word it in the search but ever since i've had my 03 track z everytime I start to drive ( and it only happens in first or when i first get going) i hear this crackling sound?? i never worried about it, thought it was normal but everybody that ride with me asks what that is and now im quite curious myself! any help would be fantastic! thanks in advance.

Can you do a video or audio recording? Where does the noise come from?

Is it coming from the rear of the car? My axles kind of make that sound when I first take off. There is a bunch of info on that and a DIY on how to lube them to stop that noise if that’s the problem you are having.

Bring it to Nissan, they'll fix it. If it's under warranty, they'll fix it free as long as your car is stock.

Could be your axels. Mine "click," it could be your swaybar endlinks also, after time they get worn down.

I would say to jack the back of your car up and start pulling and pushing on some suspension parts and see if anything starts clicking if not go for the axel idea that the other guy mentioned.

Anyone know if the TSB for this NTB04-065 will be covered at no charge if the car is out of warranty? I guess it could be one of those things about how cool the deal is, does anyone know?
