I'm at 76k and I need to replace my motor mounts. Probably going to go with megan racing motor mounts or something since the dealership wants to charge me 1100 for the job.
Parts alone for stock motor mounts were 500+ because it comes with the cross member.
Also it's a pretty difficult DIY if you don't have the right tools.

How did you know you needed new motor mounts? I replaced them in one car but with urethane I believe. Cabin vibration a bit lol.
BTW: Tires irrelevant, I've done my diff fluid at 15k, 30k. Replaced my rear pads at 42k. I'm at 44k now.

I want to start this as a thread on major repairs and their costs.
As these cars age, what are the typical repairs needed (AC, steering, transmission, etc), when do they usually show up (40k miles, 70k miles, etc.), and what are typical repair costs.
I am sure our collective experience can yield very useful information for both current owners and potential buyers. Please contribute your experiences.

davidv, do springs really get that bad? I'm about to replace shocks on my 75K mile Z because it feels soft.... but if that doesn't completely help maybe I should get new springs too?
