I am just curious, does anyone here use one of the quick change oil places to get an oil change?

I perform virtually all of my own maintenance (including oil changes), but if I were to pay someone to do my oil changes, it would have to be the dealership. I know how many of these guys are in these quick lube places (usually high school kids with little training, experience, or care for other's property) and I wouldn't trust leaving my car to them... and don't expect them to do the oil change as per Nissan spec.

Just MHO and my $.02

Neither! I've taken two beaters to Jiffy Lube in the last 10 years and both had oil leaks afterward. Besides, the Jiffy Lube by me charges over $30 for a LOF and my Nissan dealer charges $19.99.

I do all my own work, unless I don't have the tools required, even then I try to go rent the tools...

When I was in college and had a 68 Mustang (don't flame me for having a classic Mustang, at least it was a classic) I had nowhere to do any work. I took it to a quick change oil place.. Wll, I left the shop, drove down the road, and within 2 - 3 miles the car starts smoking like crazy.... I pull over, turn the car off and open the hood... The oil filler cap was still sitting on the top of the RADIATOR... I had oil EVERYWHERE...

I'll go to GREAT lengths to perform my own work. Heck, I'm even thinking of doing my own Supercharger install this winter... (If the Z Chicks did it and posted the directions on the web, can't we do it too?)

Yeah Jiffy lube are all high school drop out they have to ask their supervisor what to do most of the time. WHen I took my old car in 2 yrs ago they didnt even check my tire pressure but when they ask u to pay they tell u they check all the item listed. That was the last time I use Jiffy lube hehe.
